As I ponder it, I suspect that my problem is that I don't have enough leaf litter in my front yard. My goal is to someday eliminate all the turf grass.

Am I the only weirdo in America that has this much leaf litter so prominently featured in the front yard? The neighbors haven't been overly-impressed so far. The local mosquito colonies have been ecstatic, though.
