Need help will garden pest control

I found these little white lines on the under side of my beet greens. They are on several leaves, I have no idea what they are. Does anyone have any idea?

Well if you don't want to squish them as rhizo mentioned (can't get any more natural than that), you could use a piece of tape. Just stick it to the eggs, pull it off, and throw away.

Eggs of beet leaf miner fly. I'd do an inspection every day for a few weeks, smushing them whenever you see them.

Beet greens are one of my essential garden foods....no way that I'll share with an aggressive leaf miner.
