All the plants are in container. I am using balanced fertilizer every month and a drop of liquid fertilizer in a litr of water every day. Since you have said that it is due to over fertilizer, I suspect that it might be due to the liquid fertilizer that I bought 2 month before. As instructed on the product I am giving 1 drop of it to a Litr of water every day. But that fertilizer seem to work amazing. My ficus benghalensis that stops growing after growing some sets of leaves, but since I am using it, it is growing continuously. And my rose and mums which are suffering from chlorosis are now good.

Is that problem is due to that liquid fertilizer?

The current issue of Fine Gardening magazine has an article on liquid plant foods that looks interesting, although I have not yet read it. Mostly I find that people using these liquid plant foods over feed, even when the label directions are followed closely. The excess nutrients, those the plants do not use, simply are washed out of the growing medium and, like excess fertilizers in outdoor gardens, pollute the ground water, that stuff we drink.

The new growth of many plants is softer and lighter colored than mature growth. So there's a chance your "problem" might not be a problem.

I am having a similar issue with garden plants in pots. I did use Miracle Grow potting medium. And I admit, I have fed them twice and extra shot of liquid fertilizer over the past 3 weeks. If I stop the liquid, and just water them as usual will that correct the situation?

My problem is solved. I stopped giving it fertilizer and washed the soil to remove excess fertilizer. Now leaves are again turning green.
