is it for air plants only?

can I see an inside view of the product. I don't understand how the plant stays in and if there is dirt or no dirt?

    Thank you for your inquiry.
    There is a mesh piece that covers the soil and
    then there is a locking disc that locks the mesh in place. There is a
    hole in the top to water it and a float stick to let you know the water
    level.

    how does the soil not fall out of the part that the plant grows out of? I assume there is an opening for the actual plant to protrude out of the soil. Can you post a photo of the inside with the plant in it? I am skeptical that I will have soil on my floor!
