Seedlings are often separated, and just make sure it has enough water/moisture until it grows into its new home. If you don't separate individually by clearing up the roots, at least separate with the soil still together. Then plant into the desired location.

If your temps are in the 50s or above, you can transplant them. They may not begin really taking off until it is warmer but that should be fine for not experiencing cold temperatures for the seedlings.
