New garage door

I've been told your garage door should be a similar colour to your house so it doesn't stand out. Our front door currently is BM Cracked Pepper. This is also being replaced. I like the colour of the front door and will go something similar BUT, what colour for the garage door?

I am a believer that both your garage doors and front door match. It's personal preference and I am not one for "rules", per say...
Do whatever makes you happy. Is your replacement door going to be the same as your previous paint colour?

Yes, it would either be the same colour as house or same colour as front door. I didn't make that very clear.

Unless the garage door is a really outstanding design I like them to disappear in fact I don't think they should stand out at all so same color as the house.
