GERANIUM cantabrigiense 'Karmina', either in the Northwest or on-line? Or is there a more readily available variety (ie. dark pink or purple, small flower and small leaf, clumping or cascading)?
Where in the NW? Local retail nurseries have selections of hardy geraniums in stock now. Exactly what they carry varies, as there are so many cultivars and hybrids to choose from but I'd check locally before trying online.
One variety that is often available is Geranium cinereum 'Laurence Flatman. This is a low growing clumping form with mauve flowers stripped in darker purple. It is also a Great Plants Pick.
LOL!! No one in the PNW should need to order from a mail order source clear across the country unless they want something very exotic - there are retail nurseries every ten steps around here and most carry a pretty decent selection of hardy geraniums.
