The shelf behind the doors is fixed and not removable. This is made by
in Mexico by an Arizona based company. You will be very pleased with the

What are the dimensions behind the doors?

Behind the doors it is 15 inches deep, and has two shelves, top shelf 9.50 inches high, bottom shelf 8 inches high. The width of the shelves runs right across the piece.
