Looks like Alcazar, introduced in 1910. Was considered a great improvement over other irises, the first tetraploid iris, with more chromosomes, so more vigour, larger flowers etc. A great heirloom plant! Keep it going!

I have an old purple iris (that has been passed down from at least my aunt's house many years ago), an old yellow iris (believed to be Goldilocks), and an old lavender iris (believed to be i. pallida Dalmatica). I also have a white rebooting iris (possibly I Do or Immortality).

Thought so. I didn't realize how blue it was lol... always said it was 2 tone purple ;) Am thinking the same of my purple and white--- it is blue lol. Then I have a REALLY deep purple. But all of the 6 colors I have have that zebra striping in the middles
