Remember that gunk at the top of my bathroom walls? There I was up taping off the trim and decided to try sanding the stuff (which may have already been mentioned) and said the heck with it. Off it came, smooth as you could ask for.

However, after taping I've found a few other small spots, small but big enough to show up in a final coat, so it's back to my sanding block with 180 grit. I am wondering if the guys at the factory had been having a varnish fight one day?
