We are trying to update our 1960's foyer to be a little more modern - while spending as little as possible. We have beautiful front doors, and lots of natural wood trim all throughout the area, and do not want to paint it. We updated the stone tile by staining the stone a light grey. What we're struggling with is this - we'd like to paint the small wall (with the mirror) an accent color or pattern, but don't know how to tie it all in together. We also have a small rectangular light grey table that will go in front of the same wall. Was thinking something like the last photo, but having a hard time visualizing. Open to any ideas!

Was thinking maybe something like this...on a smaller scale, of course, with grey's and possibly a shade of tan/brown to help tie in the trim?
