I have some additional information on my peony. It's 38 inches tall, has stiff stems, light fragrance, gold stamens, and a bloom time of the 3rd and 4th weeks of May. Even if you could narrow it down to say 5 possibilities it would be very helpful. Thanks.

I'm no good at identifying plants, but my Edulis Superba looks a lot like that. Mine just finished blooming here in southern KY. Blooms very nicely, extra large blooms.

Unfortunately there are so many double pinks out there it might be difficult. You say it blooms the 3rd or 4th week of May, what zone are you in? If you're in a cool zone that would make it an early bloomer--that would narrow the choices down a lot. If it's mid to late not so much--there are TONS of them out there! Do you know how long it's been in place or where it came from? Are you in an area where there are local peony growers/sellers? If it was there when you moved in and there are local hybridizers it could even be an unnamed one. If it blooms earlier than most in your area it COULD be Edulis Supreme.
