I wanted to share photos of a mutant Ipomoea nil morning glory I have been growing. The Japanese name for the mutations I only know in part. The name is Ki Murasaki Ito Yanagi (Nadeshiko Strain).

Ki = yellow leaf mutation; Murasaki = purple; Ito Yanagi = thread like - yanagi means willow leaf-like.

So, the flower will purple and quite different looking. As can be seen in the following photos, the true leaves are also willow leaf -like.
