I looked at both, opted for the Trinsic in kitchen and master bath, Cassidy (waterfall style) in guest bath. Our house if also farmhouse/industrial, with a little barn thrown in. I too liked the simplicity of the Trinsic, thought it would match the stainless steel appliances (the "modern" part of the kitchen) better. (The cabinets are very traditional - shaker, natural cherry). I would probably have gone with the Trinsic for the guest bath too, but I really wanted a waterfall style and I couldn't find a simple one I liked in my price range. Of course, none of these have been installed yet, so I may hate my choices... lol.

Don't know about the spray mode. I do recall that the rep I worked with really liked delta over Moen because of the magnet that holds up the spray portion of the faucet.

I have the Delta Trinsic in the champagne bronze finish, installed since January. I was attracted to the simple, easy to clean design of the Trinsic, and my options were limited in a vintage bronze finish desired for my kitchen update. The diverter button toggles between spray mode and single stream. You do not need to hold the button down. I went from a pull-out to the high-arc pull down and it took some getting used to. The spray stream is very strong and splashes quite a bit, so I've found myself using the pull-down feature mostly to rinse the sink in spray mode. I LOVE the magnetic docking feature of the spray head. The hose retracts smoothly.

That said, the Trinsic is more contemporary in style and may not right for the look you're going for. The Cassidy is nice, more farmhouse/vintage than the Trinsic, imo. Trinsic is a large fixture. I think the Trinsic arc is about twice as high as the Cassidy, just looking at the pictures of each.

Hi Nicole. We moved from the house with the remodeled kitchen. We remodeled it in 2015. But, we chose the Delta Trinsic. We loved it. You can easily switch back and forth between spray and stream with a button. It has a long reach as well for cleaning out a large, deep bowl single sink. I wouldn't have changed a thing.

Thank you for your response! We had a flood just before Christmas (thanks to paper towels and popsicle sticks from the kids) in our kitchen and through the floor to our oldest child’s room. Chaos! This unexpected renovation comes with some fun picking out new things and lots of stress. Like any reno really! I am strongly leaning towards the Trinsic. I ordered both to look at and will send one back - it’s going with a deep bowl as well. Thanks so much!!!

Our kitchen was traditional with a touch of farmhouse with white cabinetry.

One thing I would have done differently is the sink. I would still go with a stainless, single bowl, deep sink. However, the one we purchased had very tight corners. I will never buy one like that again. I literally had to use a toothpick to clean it.

The faucets came today! Can I keep both!? One in the basement kitchen? Ha! My husband would strongly disagree 😆 Wants the refund for the “no”.
Caligirl5, how do you like that optional spray that looks like a bubble? Such a great description after two glasses of wine from packing the house for the reno. It intrigues me to keep that faucet.

Curious what did you decide? I am scouring around looking at faucets and trying to decide. I really like the Cassidy as well as a few other similar looking ones. I am a fan of Delta.

I chose the Trinsic. I bought both the Cassidy and the Trinsic to see them in person IN my house. While the Cassidy is beautiful I wanted something a bit more simple. I do love the Champaign bronze color. It’s just gorgeous! Either way you won’t be disappointed. The Cassidy has more flair.
