I just moved back from high altitude Colorado . I'm in Polk county 7a zone. I love growing everything and anything. I really wanted to grow some vegetables . I just cleared a 20 x 40 ish area of grass. There isn't much actual soil here mostly red clay another aspect of gardening I'm not familiar with, so I was planning on adding soil hopefully to improve yields and overall plant health. Is it to late for tomatoes,strawberries,watermelons,cucumbers , cantaloupe ,corn,basil,chives,peppers?? Thank you for taking the time to read this
