It does not need re-potting....yet. The new growth is a snake plant 'pup'. Leave everything as is, don't over water, in a few months looks like you'll have three plants.

Sansevieria trifasciata var. laurentii is most likely the plant you have. The plant does not like
sogginess at all. I'm no certain, is that an attached saucer? If so, do not let water sit in the saucer for more than 5 or 10 minuets after watering. You say there are two pups? I understand what Jaye is saying, but if it were my plant with that curved pot (which will make it difficult to remove a root bound plant) I would think about repotting so the plant doesn't get stuck in that pot. Other wise you'll have to break the pot if you wait too long to repot. The stone mulch looks pretty, but I find it harder to check the soil moisture with the stones in the way. Just a personal preference. Sansevieria Like bright light but will tolerate low light for some time. The plant looks nice and healthy. Good luck with it. Sansevieria are my favorite plants.

Thanks for a name for this plant. I was worried about trying to get it out as well if those pups keep growing. I'm thinking it may be smart to go up to a larger pot to avoid damaging this pot or the plant. Do I go up one size or more? Very grateful for the advice!

Yes, but not more I would say. You need a comfortable margin around the plant
and plantlets (pups) of say an inch or a tad more. You need well draining soil. A well draining pot. I prefer terracotta for Sansevieria, but glazed and plastic work
as long as the plant is allowed to dry out in between watering. Oh, incase you don't yet know; don't put a layer of stones for drainage in the bottom of the pot.
It actually does not help, but rather makes it worse by creating a wet anaerobic
zone just above the stones. It is OK to put a single stone over the hole to keep
the soil from "draining out" that same hole.
