N. They will bloom in cycles throughout the summer and fall. I am not surprised they aren't blooming yet. It has been so cloudy, cool and rainy that lots of things have been going into bloom later than usual. I don't think my crape myrtles have even formed flower buds yet, and I'm so far south that I'm almost in Texas.

I have many crape myrtles, and they are not blooming yet. I do cut my older ones back, but even the ones that were not cut haven't bloomed. I am in Tulsa.

Crepes seem to be late recovering this year not sure why. I dug one of mine up was sure it was dead, nope it was growing just under the soil line. Just sit tight they will probably recover.

One of the reasons I favor them is they are usually blooming for my birthday at the end of June
