We have a wrap around porch that is approximately three feet elevated with lattice covering the open area. I should mention there is a partial overhang in same area. We are not gardeners and would like some suggestions as to how we can fill this space so weeding becomes almost unnecessary. The only shrub we have managed to maintain is a globe cedar. We are about to uproot some of the shrubs that again have not survived and we're looking for any suggestions to replant.
