We are getting rid of our garbage disposal. I run it daily but don't really need to; the vegetable trimmings are all composted and meat scraps go in the trash not the disposal. I would rather have more room under the sink.

What do I do with the wall switch? Should it be taken out? Can it be used to re-wire for under cabinet lighting? I guess I could just ask the electrician when he comes, but thought I would get some input as to possibilities first.
