NOID Phalaenopsis - Please help

Hi , I bought this Phal today and as usual it doesn't have any ID on it the flowers are small and the sepals are larger than petals and they have round edges . flowers are also fragrant and waxy and they probably have more strong scent during the day . I did a research on my own and i find the Amboinenses species the closest one by look to my phal so i thought it maybe a primary hybrid . i also found this links :

The numbers are against you getting an id. If you go to the register of orchid hybrids you will find that there are 528 primary Hybrids where amboinensis is used as a parent.

Your only hope of an ID is if your orchid is a widely distributed mericlone (copy)

Doesn't matter all that much. It will still be judged at orchid shows by the AOS Judges but you cannot get an AOS award (I am assuming that you are in the USA.)

Added via edit. Apart from searching on Primary hybrids, the problem gets bigger if further breeding was used to concentrate the colour and markings.....there are more than 24487 registered Phalaenopsis hybrids.

Thank you so much for great info . I live in Iran, Tehran and i keep searching for the ID . But in the second link i mention on my first post it's seems my phal is I-Hsin Sunflower but when i search the name on google i get different phals with the same name . Can you please give me an info about that to ? Thanks

Just say you have the two parents of I-Hsin Sunflower and made the crossing again.

That is crossing Taipai Gold x Brother Nugget. You would get a seed pod with perhaps thousands of seeds. Sow the seeds and you might get hundreds of little plants which when grown to maturity would produce blooms that are different on every plant.

You could write a name tag for every plant..... Phal. I-Hsin Sunflower 'No.1', Phal. I-Hsin Sunflower 'No.2' and so on, but there would be so many that in practice you would only give clone names to the better ones.

There is no register of clone names, but some clone names are informally reserved such as 'Carmela', 'H&R', 'Aranbeem', etc. which are clone names used by orchid nurseries.

Awarded plant must be given a clone name, so the awarding body is aware of which clones were given an award.

But, you said you had a NOID, so you do not know for sure that it is Phal. I-Hsin Sunflower. Looks like is not good enough, which is backed in my first post about the number of hybrids.

It is annoying that many mass outlets here and in the USA have dumb tags like Phalaenopsis Orchid.
