Such pretty colors, Denise. I planted one this year, just a small body bag, but looking healthy.

It lasts fairly well as a cut rose. A bit less than a week if memory serves me well. It is prone to blackspot.

If you control the blackspot, water it well, grow it in full sun, and if it is not consumed by critters, Peace grows upright, vigorously, and in NE Iowa it can grow to 5' or 5'6" tall, or more, by season end. Because the blooms are so large rebloom takes a while.

Thanks all. Barbara mine was a small body bag also from Aldi and gave me 4 blooms at once. Will see what next flush does. I cut one that just barely opened for my bedside. Will see how long it lasts. I have Charlotte Brownell which is an offspring that I find much prettier but I love Peace as well.

Peace does have the wonderful ability to produce exquisitely shaded blooms. It didn't have good vase life here but our weather seems much cooler the past few summers. We hardly got out of the 60's during May. Great for the iris.
