Window Treatment Ideas?

Hi,

I'm about to move into my new condo, and I'm having a bit of trouble trying to figure out what to do about these windows in the living room. The window on the left is actually a glass sliding door w/no balcony.

I'm leaning towards curtains, but I'm not sure about the height of the curtains. Should they cover the top and bottom windows? Just the bottom? Any help would be great!

Definitely curtains over vertical blinds. I would do a double curtain rod with shears on the inner rod and fabric on the outer so you can have privacy without blocking the light if you want. I would put fabric roman shades on the uppers, but always leave them open since they feel like skylights to me!

I would also make sure that the vertical blinds and curtains are hung at the same height.

per the picture the sliding doors are not the same height as the window on the left.

make sure the height of the treatments on the left window matches that of the sliding doors.

Thanks! I think the angle of the picture is making the alignment of the windows look off. They're actually at the same height.

Uppermost windows need no curtains.
