Thanks so much for your email. I am in love with the look of marble. Can I find the same look and colors in granite? I've walked through many granite warehouses and cannot even come close. Help!

There is a couple of natural Quartzites (White Macauba and White Princess) that have veins/patterns similar to marble, but in general, Marble looks are not matched by any other natural/engineered materials. Marble is the trend for several years now and there are amazing colors and varieties of marble. If you are in VA, MD, DC area, i maybe able to recommend some places and materials to look for.

The marble looks amazing, I have a similar piece on my Buffet Server. Which as custom made to house my chairs and table leafs. All I hear is how delicate marble may be for a kitchen counter top. I really want to use marble for my kitchen counters should I?
