It is a morning glory, species Ipomoea nil. I have been growing it indoors but soon hope to get it into the outdoors environment.

You started it from a seed package?

Mommas Secrets - yes these annual vines all came from seeds. The seeds tend to not be available from the commercial seed houses but circulate amongst us fanatics in trades.

That looks pretty! And look at those leaves! I grow morning glories every year. They are slow to start this year for some reason. I hope I can get some flowers by the time fall comes.

Thanks, Ken and mk. I love the leaves, too. I transferred the plant outdoors and it is growing with renewed vigor. I hope to share more flowers soon.
