It looks like a rose chafer. I don't know if they are native to Oklahoma as all I can find is northern states and the uk. Personally , I wouldn't want them.

I don't know if they are native here, but we have them here (along with plenty of other imported insect pests).

I guess now that it is hot again we'll have oodles of beetles out and about, but I'm not seeing many damaging ones yet. I've seen some of the ground beetles that eat pests in my garden, and plenty of ladybird beetles, and a few unwelcome cucumber beetles. I don't think I've ever had rose chafer beetles here at our place, but I know they are on some of the lists and websites of Oklahoma insects.
