Decorate my kitchen, please help!

Hey all, been a few months re-doing the kitchen and actual construction is pretty much complete. The kitchen is kinda big with a big breakfast area in the back, we have a separate dining room.

The kitchen has like a 3.5'x6.5' island top with 4 seats for it. Then we have a pub style table in the breakfast area we brought with us from the old house....it is wood right now, I am thinking I am going to refinish it and paint it....black or white, probably black.

Our issue is the walls, lots of wall and they are just painted, and we don't know what to do.

Picture are from throughout the remodel, pretend it is all done, cause it is now hah. Forgive the mess!!

PICTURES!

this is the new fan I installed in the back, over the breakfast area and pub table. the walls are more blue then we like but ok, and the trim is all white.

I installed 2 hammered glass pendants over the island, all the counters are black absolute granite. you can see the little chair for the island here.

I built an extension on the island, added beadboard and painted to match the cabinets. Also the floor is a driftwood colored wood.

The backsplash is stone, white glass, and stainless mosaic with white grout.

I used stainless tiles behind the oven, this was before it was grouted.

This is where the problem is, not the kids, she can be a problem, but ALL THAT WALL. That door goes to the garage. From where I am taking the picture that wall to the door is about 8 foot or so, then another 5 foot or so to the back wall. Then the back wall with the paper shade is like 12' long.

It's just a lot of wall, shouldn't we put something up? to break it up some? or no? I like construction, hate decorating, PLEASE HELP!!
