Mixing knobs in kitchen

White shaker style kitchen, calcatta nuvo Caesarstone counter. Wanting to put glass round knobs on top cabinets, and black pulls on lower cabinets. What to do for the doors that require knobs on the lower cabinets? black knobs (in effect having 3 different hardware) or the same glass knobs as on uppers?

I think you could go either way - but if it were me I would do all black on the bottom.

We are designing the same kitchen! I just ordered my white shaker cabinets today and am leaning towards Calcatta Nuvo for my counter. I'm planning on glass knobs on my top drawers and any doors (pantry and under sink). I'm going chrome cup pulls on the big drawers.

I would do glass knobs on a doors, regardless of where they're located, if I were you.

no knobs on lowers unless you are good at repairing ripped paints IMO.

If your lower cabinet pulls are of the open variety (i.e. "bow pulls" vs. the closed "bin

pulls" you could use the same ones on the lower cabinets, just installed vertically vs. horizontally for the drawers.
