How do you know it is a once bloomer? Is it Dr Huey?

Ohh, so nice, blooming from top to bottom. I don't have the patience nor want to expend energy on once-blooming, but seeing this might make me change my mind in the future. Thank you!

countrygirl, I was told by members oof this forum last year that this was a once=bloomer when I inquired as do what to do with the ong canes that appeared last fall (10' plus). I left them alone and this is the result.

If you want to get even more bloom as those canes are growing out to 10', and while they're supple, try either spreading them out horizontally or curving them downward and tying them to something. Instead of getting bloom just at the top/tips of the canes you'll get short lateral branches all along the long canes and each of those will bloom. The more horizontal you can get the canes the more bloom you'll get.
