I did as well - hope our RMG friends are ok!!

Not only the tornados, but the flooding last nite. I was watching it on TV until about one this morning. At least some of the roads north of Longmont were closed during the evening and nite last nite because of flooding--287 north from Rt 66 was closed for at least a while, several hours I believe! That's the way Barb and I went to the swap! And it looks like this afternoon could be as bad as yesterday.

Gloria, how is your sister doing up there? Anybody else in the Berthoud/Ft. Collins area, or anywhere up in the "floods of '13" area? Are you all ok up that direction?

I was wondering about the same thing, both last night and today. Isn't Berthoud also in the area where they received more than 5 inches of rain yesterday in about 3 hours time? Ugh!

My backyard is under water again, but I would rather deal with that than tornadoes.....

I hope everyone is OK - and that everyone's gardens make it through this nasty spring!

Glad you are ok, jali! Yea, tornado tourist idea is crazy!! It is fascinating to watch clips of tornados, though, I've got to admit. That guy is very lucky he made it through that!

I emailed Gloria last night. She responded this am, roof and car damage but the 3 sisters are safe! I'm very relieved!

Hi there, I've been lurking since last year's hailstorm took out my whole yard and the thought of gardening was too depressing. I live in Berthoud proper, and we are just fine. The damage was far southwest Berthoud, near Boulder County and the foothills. Not many houses affected because of the low density but a few families were hit pretty bad.

So glad to head Gloria and sisters are fine! As well as you steviewonder!! Sorry to hear about your hail problems last year, though. Hope you and garden are on the mend now :) I do feel for the folks hit by the tornadoes.

Stevie, glad you are okay, and the other clan up that way!

I haven't heard about any injuries at all, so that's good, though our prayers are still with everyone who has been affected.

Can we just skip this spring and choose one we like a lot better? lol

Unfortunately, tornados and hail are a part of living here in Colorado - and much of the rest of the USA, apparently. The rain though, the rain...way too much of a good thing this year.

Glad everyone is OK without any reports of injuries or devastating damage to houses and other property.
