That is a beautiful plant and well grown. The description states "crown variegation." I don't see variegation on the plant but perhaps that is the photo.

Is it variegated or has it ever been?

I haven't seen any evidence of variegation, but my plant is young .... and, probably, underfed. I'm going to work on my feeding program this summer.

The foliage is nothing special, but not bad either. The foliage you're seeing in the photo is from another plant.

The blooming is nice ... long-lasting ruffled soft pink blooms. This one is a bit of a vintage variety, I think.

I have read Cabbage Patch is not reliably crown variegated. Just wondered if yours was. If it does variegate, it might be interesting to see a photo of that.

Other "variegated" are also sometimes yes, sometimes no. Feather performs as variegated on some strains but some strains are not. Or so I have read.
