Cream Veranda

or garden of roses, as it is known here. It is a perennial favorite! For me, the spring blooms are a bit more apricot than they are in late summer.

I promise you will have room for it! It lives happily in a big pot and is very cheerful outside the back door.

Some more shots of this great plant. If anyone else grows Cream Veranda, I would love to see how yours look! Mine is 3 years old now and blooming its head off.

Beautiful blooms. How does it look when it fades. I have Lemon Veranda. The initial blooms are very pretty and the foliage is gorgeous but when the blooms start to fade they are ugly. I'm hopeful it is only because of the heat and when it cools down they'll be pretty. It produces a lot of blooms but they don't do a thing for me.

The flowers look alright for quite a long time actually. This picture shows a somewhat older bloom-- http://www.helpmefind.com/rose/l.php?l=21.176702 they keep their form but then they start to go brown in the center. I am a compulsive deadheader so I usually don't keep them on too long after they fade. Lemon Veranda is not available here so I am not sure how it compares-- but they do not appear to be related so I think it is worth trying!
