“Colin has managed two projects for us recently: --A multi-million dollar gut reno of a large Tribeca loft apartment --A full reno of a one-bedroom apartment in the East Village In all cases Colin has been a delight to work with. The projects have been completed on a timely basis and change orders, to the extent necessary, have been reasonable. He is a good problem-solver (for example, cleaning old window frames to look new vs replacing them). The quality of the work is excellent. Colin is reachable and returns calls promptly. We are going to be working with him on a couple of small projects this year.”

“We have used Monks several times. Our most recent project involved refinishing our floors and painting some inside of our house. These guys answer their phones, show up on time and give you a quote on their first visit. Then they started on time and finished on time. They weren't the cheapest way to go, but they were the only company I found that could handle the painting, floors and carpentry without subbing everything out. We felt it was worth the money to have one company running the entire project and we were right.”
