Outdoor Firepit

We are trying to decide which material to use for our fire pit. We live in Wisconsin so we have cold winters and we want low maintenance. The diameter of the pit will be 4 feet and the seating area around it will be 24 feet. We are considering, pavers, stamped concrete, or flagstaff. Any thoughts, tips, or suggestions?
