there is no real significant difference between say.. a 2-1-2 or a 3-2-1 .. etc ...

especially diluted ... as it all should be for seedlings ...

i know you want to go all magical on this stuff ... but its just hocus pocus ...

with seedlings use any water sol ... 1/4 strength.. every watering ...

What are the numbers on your miracle grow. Miracle grow has many different kinds of fertilizer with different ratios of nutrients. If you know what the numbers stand for and what they do for your plant it's easy to pick a fertilizer. It doesn't matter what brand if the numbers are right.

The first number is nitrogen. It's what puts the green in things. A high number is good for lawns but not what is needed for flowers.

The second number is phosphorus. It promotes strong roots and stems.

The last number is potash--It is an over all tonic for the plant.

For water soluble fertilizer the combination I choose for growing plants is 15-30-15. Seedlings do not need fertilizer until they have their second leaf and then the strength should be diluted. In fact fertilizing before the plant has it's second leaf is detrimental to the plant
