Hi there! I would say some of the basics - well draining soil, balanced watering schedule, plenty of sun and warm temps and fertilizer. Also, the occasional pesticide treatment if they're bothered by any insects.

I'm sure others will let you know their tips and tricks but aside from the basics a lot is up to the particular plumeria and mother nature. Some plumeria bloom more often than others and that could be that variety or growing conditions can play a factor as well.

Plumerias bloom great tropical areas. In other areas it will require more care and even a bloom fertilizer to get them to bloom more often. We use Dyna-Gro Bloom starting before they get out of dormancy and until we see the first 2..3 leaves or a flower spike (Use once even two weeks does the trick fro about 1.5 months). Many people do not think about depleted soil conditions when growing in containers. Even if you potted the plant a few months ago the nutrients in the pots get leached out everything you water.
