-I would try to heat and soften it with a hairdryer, and use a paper towel to try to rub it off.

-Try acetone (fingernail polish remover). Just don't use these two methods at the same time because acetone is flammable/combustible.

Be sure to come back and post the remedy that works. It would be interesting to know.
