is there room on a wall not shown for a robe hook? providing hooks in the guest and child's rooms to hang damp towels is also useful, and lets the bathroom dry out much faster.

where are hand towels to be placed? under the window would be ok for that but there would be drippy hands on the way.

thank you for your reply, we do not have room for robe hook. that would have been a wonderful idea. there is room for a hand towel rack (hook) on the left side of the sink for hand towels. I am just struggling with the towel rack.

I like towel rods over the toilet. They are out of the way and no one will grab them and try to lean on them/support themselves with them.

I'm bookmarking this because I have exactly the same problem! My shower stall is all glass. There is seriously no room for a hook, either. Over the toilet has not got enough room for towels to dry open, especially if you share a bathroom, plus its several steps away. Right now, mine is behind the door on a hook, but thats unsatisfactory because I always forget to get it. I think Command makes a towel bar that holds onto glass. It might look kinda weird, but I might try it. You also might try free standing, if you have room. I don't.

I'll try that. Thanks. Hope this solves the OP delimma too.
