Hi Martha, I have two suggestions that are based on personal experience. 1. Use stones that are too heavy to be blown around by a leaf blower, and 2. use a divider to define the area that is sturdy and deep enough to hold everything in place. I have been much happier since the pea gravel that was use by the previous owner of my house was replaced with a much larger and heavier river rock. A heavy metal divider was used to define the area. The metal is flexible enough to define a curved area but strong enough to keep the heavy stones in place. Good luck!
