Do you mean to build the cabinets out of ceramic panels? I am going to use something similar to that called Neolith in a few other areas for horizontal surfaces but I didn't realize you can actually build cabinets out of ceramic.

No, there hadnt been a mention of cabinets, I just meant surfaces. For cabinets ikea has a great line of white lacquered modules. I managed to make all their dimensions fit perfectly into a space recently and it looks like one monolithic wall of white lacquer, with a tasteful grid (doors without hardware)

Acrylic is probably the most expensive. Thermofoil maybe the least overall to get a high gloss look over a lot of cabinetry. Lacquer over wood could still be considered as price can be competitive especially if a high gloss finish is not needed and maybe a low gloss could suffice. Since this is on topic, I thought I would share a bookcase of mine which is finished in satin lacquer. Thanks
