I am seeking quotes on custom wood (maple) wardrobe cabinets with paneled wood doors in a painted finish. The closet has about 19 linear feet of space to be fitted. The current design consists of four tall (90 inch) units two-feet deep with hanging space and pull-out shelves for shoes, two drawer bases with 12-inch deep cabinets above and two additional shallow cabinets 12 x 18 x 45 high. I expected the cost to come in under $10,000. I received a quote for twice that amount installed. Does anyone have an idea of what to expect to pay?
