In this kitchen, it feels a little dark. Would painting the cabinets a light color be a good idea? Thinking about painting the the island also but maybe a darker shade. ? Could the built- in cabinets next to the stone f/p also be painted? Very very interested in your opinions!! Note, the wall color is going to be a fab shade of light gray instead of the butter color in the pic. All of the decor, rug, furniture will be changed as well.
