Can you say what your thinking of using the attic room for.?

Ah, yes! We're thinking about keeping it as a playroom like it is now. But we're going to separate the toys on one side and the entertainment on the other. Hope that makes sense!

I think you should paint your Attic in a nice crisp white in a Satin sheen for the maintenance - it does not have any windows so the white will help brighten the space - paint the ceiling to match and I think it would help minimize the angles of the walls - then you could add fun pops of color in the room -

Paint the entire area all the same. If you like the living room color, stick with it. I
I do not care for the yellow wall which runs from the kitchen into the living area, nor the living room wall color coming into view in the kitchen.

I would paint the kitchen and living room the same colour, I think a rich cream would work and would blend better with your floor tiles, I think the yellow is just a little jarring...

The attic room is a great space,you could go with a den look dark and cosy or because it's going to be partly a children's play area maybe a lighter colour would be better,you can add colour with accessories and such like.
