You have a lovely garden, plantcollector. I'm afraid I can't help i.d. the succulent, I've never seen it before, although at first I thought it was a tradescantia. Maybe on the C & S forum someone would know.

Thanks for the help marguerite_gw , I am not sure but I think it might be a sun rose plant also known as a aptenia plant .

Here is a update on my garden.

pruning my two plumeria plants for winter cold front that will drop the lows in my area to the mid 30 to low 40s for 2 or 3 days. The non variegated plumeria had one of its stems/branches cut of by some tree pruning company in my apt complex :( thankfully it is long enough to be a cutting and may root in the spring.

here is some pics of the plants I am taking in for the winter.

Hopefully the plants will survive the winter and hopefully not get any pests too.

I Will post another update about the rest of the garden tomarrow :)

yup it's like that because of little room to spare in my balcony/apt ;) . it's been like this since I first started gardening around 5 to 4 yrs ago.

Here is part 1 of my update on my plants as of nov 21 2015.

here I used some "Fuzzy Sticks" I had lying around the apt. To tie my gardenia called ,"aimee" and also two alligator kalanchoe from falling from the cold fronts 25+ to 45+ mph wind and wind gusts. And they have been working great!

sorry for some shaky pics it was hard to have the camera take steady pics in 25+ mph sustained winds.

A more detailed look at my indoor plants, continued.

The 2 pics above is the plumeria branch that got snapped of the mother plant.

the pic above is of some cuttings in a plastic bag I got, that are supposed to be "flore pleno" jasmines

You need to get a house with a yard. Obviously you have been bitten with the plant bug.

Hi everyone! :) it's been awhile since I've posted,( been sick and also school reasons .) But anyways as I was doing my weekly garden check, I found the first case of powdery mildew on my Natchez crape myrtle, this year is worse than last year's one.

hopefully this doesn't spread around the plant more.

In other news my jasmine grand duke supreme ,variegated pink lemon and gardenias are now showing buds :)

My plumeria is about to bloom! last time it bloomed was in 2012 ,the year I got it, this is how the inflow looks at the moment

if I remember correctly the flower should be white with yellow in the center, and have a lemon like sent.
