Can you show the 3 X 6 linen glossy subway tile. The above photos you sent show too much movement for your counter, I think. Can you give us a photo of the granite?

I like the shiny subway tiles but not with the pattern on them.

My choice would definitely be the light gray without the pattern. The pattern isn't necessary and somehow cheapens the look.

No more stone! Look on the Heath Tile website and find a color that blends, and that you like. Then choose a size and scale that works in the space, and a grout color that goes with the granite.

I love their matte colors, but order some samples and see if you like matte or glossy.

The granite has a cool undertone, but the fawn-grey neutrals you have show more of a warm undertone. Choose a neutral, if you get a neutral, that also has cooler undertones.

Keep it subtle, and useful.

Keen planner. I wish you could pick it for me! Can you suggest a neutral grey on the Heath website? I was afraid my Greys were too warm for the overall granite.

You can look on the web to get ideas but you must choose your tile "in person". The very best way is to bring home several samples of each color you are considering and mount them on a piece of cardboard so you can hold them vertically on the backsplash wall right next to the counter and cabinets. That way you will have no surprises.
