Preying Mantis Hosting in Juniper

I get them every year but this year has been especially bad. they are the invasive Chinese ones that get, like 5 inches long. They seem to be everywhere, and one has decided to take up residence in my juniper bonsai. Should I evict this squatter or do I need to read up on local city ordinance before taking action? On a more serious note, is this a problem?
