I think a roman shade in a wood with a med to dark tone wood look great, also a shower curtain made of that window fabric hung hide like curtains would be gorgeous too

I would love the plantation shutter but it won't work after looking again at the window. I will need a shade of some sort being the small opening would be too visible from back houses behind me. I want something that will compliment the bathroom. Should I do a darker shade or find something that blend in with the curtain colors?

Narrow faux wood blinds will not warp in a humid bathroom. They'll be easy to adjust for privacy. Try white to match the trim paint.

What about an old-fashioned white roller blind? Not fancy, but functional.

A bottom-up shade is a good choice for bathrooms. Gives privacy and light.
Going with a creamy stone for the vanity and painting the walls a coordinating ivory will make the room more inviting. If you can remove one of the vanity doors, you should go to stone yards and countertop places so you can easily what looks best with it. Stone yards often have stunning remnants from other jobs and your small vanity needs very little.

I replaced the cracked marble top on an antique piece in my entryway when I redid my kitchen. The stone was $$$ and not in the cards for my kitchen but perfect for that.
