Beautiful C. intermedia. It reminds me of the one I lost to black rot last year. I would be interested.

Another intermedia of a different color would not hurt my feelings. I do have a young intermedia var vinicolor.

I know I have Encyclia cordigera, Laelia fournieri, Colmanara wildcat, Ansellia africana (small). I will look and see what else I have.

Quite a list to choose from. Tell me how you grow your Ansellia. I might like to try that...Do you know the hi and low temp range? How much light do you give it. Has it rewarded you with flowers? Thanks.

This is the mother plant. I give it full sun up here, Cattleya light should be fine. I have it potted in hydroton pellets in a plastic pot. Watering is reduced in September and it flowers in November.

Count me in Lumpy. I want it. I originally indicated a few week. I'm thinking 4 to six weeks before surgery. There are several p bulbs in different stages of maturity and likely to flower. That triggers new growth. We all will be better off to wait a little.

Here is the plant next to the blooming size mother plant. I think it's at least 2 years from flowering.

Take care of that little one for me. I want to have the dividing done to start the trade.

No rush. I'm away in July from the 15th to 25th. Anytime other than that is good.

Surgery was successful. I got 6 divisions. Not many for the size of the plant. It seems to protect itself from humans by almost braiding the canes. I potted 2 of them that leaves 4. There are 2 divisions with 2 canes plus new growth. The other 2 are 1 cane with 1 new growth. I usually like at least 2 canes plus new growth but the single cane divisions look very viable.

James, in fairness for shipping costs, if you want to send it bare root it is OK.
