Hiya! I need some quick help please...

I have several glads that are in various stages, only a couple have just started to bloom. I was given several different foxgloves 2 weeks ago that are distressed/root bound and in need of TLC.

My question is whether I could plant them together? And if so, what should I be aware of?

One area of the yard is a north facing wall that gets some morning sun, but gets that hot afternoon sun as well. There are huge dinner plate dahlias, and a large hydrangea bush over there too. Plus I'm thinking of putting a clematis in the immediate area (within 2-3 ft) as well.

The other area is within splash-shot of our fountain, with an unruly jasmine (that I'm currently training onto a trellis), alstroemeria lilies, zinnias, and of course glads. This area mainly gets hot afternoon sun, and is a bit tight. It's always been my problem area because I've just never known how/what to plant around the fountain.

So what do you all think??
