It is not Rumba. Also, Rumba was not an AARS awardee. This rose is actually listed as a red blend. The flowers start out more red with a yellow reverse but change to orange and yellow as they age.

Ketchup and Mustard is incorrect. Roman Holiday is correct. I hope it somehow gets going better in the garden because it is not doing much at all this year. I was thinking about using spaghetti and meatballs as a cryptic clue as to the identity of this 1967 AARS rose that shared the award with a HT named Bewitched, another floribunda named Gay Princess, and a GR named Lucky Lady.

Don't think spaghetti and meatballs would have helped me (am not that good with cryptic clues) but now I can see the connection:)

This rose is, according to HMF, only available in Europe but I think it is absolutely stunning. That is the first clue - second clue: it has a strong fragrance.

Pretty close Seil, but the blooms on this rose are more globular and it is a shrub not a floribunda.

Have no idea, but it resembles that new Austin rose Desdemona.

Not an Austin! This rose is not that new - been around just over a decade and is a 'Goddess' in the garden - if you get my meaning ;)

Kublakan, this is not an OGR, it's a classic older hybrid tea from 1929, USA.

Talisman is a beautiful rose. It gets too large to be in my garden. Love your photo, Beth. Here's one that usually is darker, so don't let that fool you. The triple digit heat has lightened the blooms, but it is still quite pretty. It can get large too, in California, but I have to make space for it somehow.

I'm not too good with singles or shrubs, but I'll try BALLERINA? I'm pretty sure that's wrong.

It is a polyantha that has been compared to Ballerina. I should say that even though it normally is darker than Ballerina, it is still described as light pink on HMF. USA breeder. Its name comes from a Celtic spirit who is both mischievous and benevolent.

I actually looked at this rose but thought it was too dark - I think your clue just gave it away;)

Yes, that's it! Pookah gets much lighter in hot temperatures.

Like so many of the roses this summer - much hotter that usual. It was 34C again yesterday but it's raining today and temps dropped by 10degrees.
