I got a 5 gallon holiday avocado next day in the morning transplanted it in 15 gallon container then brown leaves started appearing I used 70%gromulch and 30%sand soil two weeks later we had 100* weather then it a toll brown leaves curled and drop I started using a carbon filter removes 97% of the chlorimine after the fact that I wasn't aware of the salts in our water it help the brown stopped growing but no new leaves shooting live in Southern California any help or advice will be appreciated also I have a pool 6 feet from the avocado but the avo is in a 5 foot high retaining wall.
